This recently refurbished gracious Regency Country House Hotel and Spa, cradled by both the Quantock and the Blackdown Hills sits in an elevated rural position and enjoys some of the most beautiful views in Somerset. It has the warm, inviting feel of a delightful, private country house. High ceilings, large windows and a fabulous sweeping staircase create a sense of spaciousness and elegance. However, there is nothing cold or formal about the atmosphere. Real log fires burn, exquisite fabrics, chic wallpaper and stylish furniture add warmth and complete the experience of total luxury.

The Mount Somerset Hotel has undergone a complete internal refurbishment, as well as our most recent addition of a new hotel wing accommodating eight luxurious new bedrooms.
Each room is named after the small villages that surround The Mount Somerset and all are beautifully proportioned and individually decorated in a sumptuous classic style with a modern edge. Exquisite fabrics and chic wall paper, elegant furniture and comfortable beds complete the experience of total luxury. The en-suite bathrooms most of which have stunning rolls top baths, many also offering wet rooms with power showers to complement this sumptuous feel. All rooms also benefit from large flat screen TV`s with digital free view and complimentary wireless internet access. The Barrington, The Ashill, The Durston and The Langport are among the finest hotel suites in the south west all boasting some of the most stunning views in Somerset overlooking the surrounding Hills.

Mulchelney: Classic Double/Twin Room very light and airy room decorated in green and golds, with large walk in shower, no bath. Interconnecting door to Ashill.
Chedzoy: Classic Double Room, quaint corner room with shower over the bath. Beautiful views of the garden to the side of the house.
Othery: Classic Double/Twin Room with separate seating area, roll top bath and walk in shower. Stunningly appointed in rich plums and a quirky sloping floor. Views to the side of the property. (Accommodates a z-bed or cot).
Fivehead: Classic Double Room stunningly appointed room with seating area boasting a regency stripe accent, roll top bath and walk in shower. Views to the side of the property.
Aller: Classic Room with shower over the bath. Classically decorated room with antique furniture, luscious sofa and beautiful views to the front of the property overlooking the pond and parklands. (Accommodates a z-bed or cot).

Deluxe Double Rooms
Donyatt: Deluxe Double Room, beautifully appointed bright and airy room with separate seating area, en suite bathroom with stunning roll top bath and walk in shower. Views to the side of the property overlooking the spa terrace, (Accommodates a z-bed or cot).
Broadway: Deluxe Double/Twin Room appointed in contemporary fabrics with roll top bath and shower, separate seating area, superb views of the award winning gardens to the side of the property. (Accommodates a z-bed or cot).
Trull: New Deluxe Double Room with roll top bath and shower, decorated in a cool blue with a stunning striped sofa with brown accent this elegant and calming room has east views of the upper garden and fields.
Combe Florey: New Deluxe Double room with roll top bath and shower. This bright rooms is decorated in vibrant rich reds and greens with west facing views.
Corfe: New Deluxe Double Room with roll top bath and shower, sumptuously decorated in a cool calming aqua green with accents of brown. Corfe is an east facing room and overlooks the upper garden and surrounding fields.
West Hatch: New Deluxe Double Room with roll top bath and shower. A chic light room classically decorated with mustard and green undertones and a contemporary tartan sofa. West Hatch is east facing with views over the gardens.
Thulbear: New Deluxe Double Room with roll top bath and shower. This elegant room decorated in sumptuous rich plums and warm burgundies. Thulbear faces west and overlooks our stunning gardens.
Henlade: New Deluxe Double with roll top bath and shower. Classically chic room with rich red accents and regency stripes overlooking our spa and terrace.

Garden Deluxe Rooms
Burrowbridge: New Garden Deluxe with roll top bath and shower. This bedroom is decorated in cool greys and blues with a fuchsia infusion. This striking room has its own private terrace with hot-tub, sun loungers, table and chairs for al fresco dining.
Pitminster: New Garden Deluxe with roll top bath and shower. This beautiful garden room decorated in autumnal colours boasting its own large private terrace with hot-tub, sun loungers, table and chairs for al fresco dining.

Premier Suites
Ashill: Suite with un-canopied four poster bed large bathroom with luxury roll top bath and large walk in shower. Double aspect views of the front and side of the property. Beautifully appointed classical sofa and antique furnishings. Interconnecting door to Muchelney.
(Accommodates a z-bed or cot).
Durston: Suite with six foot double bed, large bathroom with roll top bath and walk in shower. Stunning chic sofa and antique furniture in warm mustards and plums. Superb views of the Gardens and surrounging hills. (Accommodates a z-bed or cot).

Langport: Suite with four poster bed, large bathroom with stunning views over the front of the hotel, roll top bath and walk in shower. Beautifully furnished in autumnal tones with luxurious sofa allowing you to look out of the double aspect windows at the stunning views to the front and side of the property, gardens and further countryside. (Accommodates a z-bed or cot).

The Barrington Suite: Master Suite with a seven foot bed, a large bathroom with spacious twin shower and luxurious roll top bath. A beautifully appointed room decorated in cool blues with a classical crisp floral sofa. Possibly one of the largest suites in the south west with separate seating area and spectacular views of our award winning gardens and surrounding hills. (can be made twin.
